No. We migrate your complete history — every email from the beginning, all your Drive files, calendars, and contacts — while your Google Workspace stays fully intact. We run a final sync at cutover to capture anything that arrived during the migration, and we don't recommend closing your Google account until you've confirmed everything is present in Microsoft 365. There's always a fallback.

None that your team will notice. We copy all your data into Microsoft 365 in the background while everyone keeps using Google Workspace as normal. The two platforms run in parallel right through the cutover, which we schedule for a quiet time, so email keeps flowing and work continues without interruption.

Yes — preserving permissions is a core part of how we do this. Personal My Drive files move into each user's OneDrive, and Shared Drives move into SharePoint, with the same people retaining the same access in both cases. We map Google identities to their Microsoft 365 equivalents during planning so sharing is recreated accurately, and we validate it before considering the move complete.

Google's native file formats are converted to their Microsoft equivalents during the migration — Docs become Word files, Sheets become Excel, and Slides become PowerPoint. Files already in standard formats, like PDFs, images, and Office documents stored in Drive, move across unchanged. Very complex Google files with heavy scripting can occasionally need a small tidy-up, and we flag any of those during the assessment so there are no surprises.

Absolutely. Your domain and every email address stay exactly the same — your contacts won't see any change in how they reach you. All that changes is the platform powering your email behind the scenes, moving from Google to Microsoft 365.

For most small and mid-sized businesses, the project runs from a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on the number of users and how much mail and Drive data there is. The bulk data copy happens in the background without affecting anyone, and the cutover itself is brief. After an assessment we'll give you a clear timeline and a cutover date that works for you.

We reconfigure and test everyone's devices, provide guidance on finding their way around Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive, and stay on hand for the inevitable "where did this go?" questions in the first days.
